Lady Gaga. Some may call her a musical genius, while other may think the has some sort of psychological problem. If there is one thing that she does non-stop is perform. Whether it be through her music or her iconic fashions on the "worst-dressed" pages of tabloids, Ms. Gaga is definitely a show stopper. However, as we approach the end of the 4 city fashion show season, a Gaga trend seems to be hitting the runways across the world. From New York to Milan, Gaga's infamous pant-less look seems to be what new and hot for the spring 2010 season.

ReplyDeleteI have to say that at first Lady Gaga seemed like a viciously desperate grab for Britney-like-attention, but it has been pointed out to me that she is at least doing INTERESTING things. Her VMAs performance is nuts...but intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI think you bring up an interesting idea about fashion as performance. Our culture has always seen fashion as a means of entertainment, but if what you're wearing becomes its own performance...well...that's at least interesting. To Lady Gaga, I say: Off the wall fashion or bust.
